Transforming a beach house into a personalized coastal retreat creates the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and enjoyment.
This project was a new construction home allowing us to start with a completely blank slate. An additional project goal included balancing the design to be suitable for renters while having enough personality for them to enjoy when they came to town on vacation.
We selected a neutral theme for the base of the design to make it easy to swap décor elements in the future if they needed to be replaced. A calming wool area rug and comfortable seating in the primary living room offer a welcoming space for lounging.
The dining room offers an elegant, yet relaxing ambiance. Ocean-inspired artwork, beautiful wooden chairs, patterned curtains, and an impressive light fixture combine for an unmistakable beachfront character.
Each bedroom has its own character and personality, while maintaining a cohesive design throughout. The soft color palette present in all furnishings, finishings, and décor offers a seamless transition to relaxation at the end of a joyous day at the beach.
